The Vodopad Skok, the waterfall on the first level of the Mlynicka dolina valley between Solisko and Patria, looks like a small silver ribbon high up in the mountains. Its full beauty only reveals itself up close, then its former German name "Schleierwasserfall" becomes understandable. According to legend, this 30-meter-high natural wonder arose from the tears of a girl whose lover fell from the upper waterfall edge while hunting chamois. In the meantime, the somewhat delicate and slippery plates to the left of the waterfall have been secured with iron chains, but on an easy walk it is sufficient to sit at the foot and enjoy the water flow from below.
