Cheap and good place to stay in Strasbourg is the campsite with fixed cottages and mobile houses that are clean and well furnished and in a park in Strasbourg, about 15min. away from the cathedral. Of course you can also camp. Cottages have all shower and toilet. Bed linen must be brought (sleeping also goes). Final cleaning must be done by yourself.
