Location: Hermigua, Isla De La Gomera, Canary Islands, Spain
Hermigua is considered to be the valley with the most water in La Gomera, as it is supplied all year round by the Rio del Cedro. In addition to little tourism, there is mainly agriculture here. The mostly sunny side of the valley was terraced to the highest level that could still be irrigated. Among other things, potatoes, papayas, bananas, grains, legumes, pumpkins, beans and grapes are grown. The Garajonay National Park, which partly belongs to the municipality of Hermigua, is only six kilometers away to the east and is definitely worth a visit.

Did the tour too. Really super nice with great views. Downhill into the valley is actually, in my opinion, the strenuous part of the tour. Fairly long and steep and very slippery with previous rain. But also with a beautiful view.
