Nice city with a great beach. Especially the old town with the church Notre Dame is worth a visit.

Boulogne is a very old city - the port still goes back to the Celts.
The Romans christened the slightly higher town of Bononia, in memory of Bologna.
Due to the strategic importance of the port for the conquest of Great Britain, Emperor Caligula built a lighthouse in Boulogne-sur-Mer in 39 AC after the model of Pharos in Egypt.
Especially worth seeing are the old town, the harbor and the extensive beaches, which are suitable for beach sailing.
