The butterfly garden is definitely worth a visit. The entrance is roughly between 8-9 Eur for an adult. In the butterfly house itself, small quails run around, koys swim in the water and of course many butterflies fly around. But you should be prepared for tropical climate. To the photographers: In colder outdoor temperatures, the lens starts to fog up!

Princess Elisabeth von Bismarck founded the butterfly garden 31 years ago in the historic greenhouses of Chancellor Otto von Bismarck. These are next to the 800-year-old brewery of Friedrichsruh.
Here you can be enchanted by the tropical splendor of freely flying moths from South America, Africa and Asia.
Native butterflies fly a lot in the open air in the scent garden, the dragonfly pond and the lavender between the roses.
In the Singing Water Garden, the magnificent koi carp are delighted when they are fed by the visitors.
In addition to selected gift articles and picture books, a small boutique also offers a large selection of butterfly information and literature.
To relax in idyllic surroundings, the cafeteria invites you to the Schlossteich and Café Vanessa.
Aquatic turtles, dwarf rabbits are of interest to all nature lovers and make the garden of butterflies an experience for young and old.
In winter the garden is closed.
