From the Peitlerscharte, directly below the mighty Peitlerkofel, you can enjoy a great view towards the Central Alps.

We found it exhausting but the trail is very worth it. Very varied and great views. But also popular. Full around noon. Better get up early.

Very nice ascent from the Würzjoch up to the Peitlerkofel, for example. Surefootedness and sturdy footwear are of course a must here!

Very nice path and climb to the Peitelerkofel. Get up early because of the huge crowd. Plan a parking fee of € 5.

Many wayside crosses invite you to linger and reflect.

A beautiful stretch but also very steep and exhausting. The climb is definitely worth it.
