The eruption of San Antonio in the 17th century caused great damage to agriculture and spilled the well-known thermal and healing spring Fuencaliente. Today they have been re-located at Playa Echentive (Playa Nueva).
On the San Antonio there is a visitor center where u. a. see a movie about the outbreak of neighboring Teneguia in 1971. In addition, you can experience on a simulator in the outdoor area, as the earthquake strength 5 feels.

Easy walk to the Mirador.
There is a visitor center in front of which you can get information about volcanology.
Admission is 5 €.
The volcano crater was created in 1677.
More impressive, however, is climbing the volcano Teneguia (free).
