Agios Antonios Gorge

Very beautiful wild romantic gorge.

Family Challenge with a wife, three boys 11 and 6 years old, all in all, it's more of a climb than a hike, but there are some tricky spots. A great adventure but only with the right footwear. If you have fought your way to the lake (watch out for snakes) and climb up the gorge again, you will be greeted with a really great quaint restaurant. rewarded with suckling pig from the grill and fresh cold beer. But you should plan about 4 hours and bring enough water and food. Due to the shade, it is pleasantly cool in the gorge.

Visited in late August 2020.
Quite a lot to climb, but hardly any water, so that you weren't completely slowed down anywhere. Made it through the gorge and were rewarded with a march through the blazing sun at 31 ° C 😅
