Every year, the impressive Phyang Monastery is enlivened by mystical dances. Once in the first month of the Tibetan calendar between the 17th and 19th day and the other time in the sixth month between the second and third day. Intricately carved wooden masks and ornate costumes hide the dancers and give the ceremony an unforgettable character.
