Tips
Sesimbra Castle was declared a national monument on June 16, 1910 and is the last of the sea castles that has been well preserved to this day. Its origins date back to the 9th century. Inside there is the Cafeteria Santiago, the Rafael Monteiro Heritage Interpretation Center and two permanent exhibitions about its history.
