The Dreirainsteine (Czech tři šutry) are three adjacent old landmarks on the current border with the Czech Republic. The exact reason why they were put there can only be guessed. Probably they mark the former border point between the bishoprics of Regensburg, Naumburg-Zeitz and Prague, or even the triangle between Bavaria, Bohemia and Saxony from 1165 to 1348.
