There used to be marsh and bog meadows here until the large and small Hüttenbach ponds were created for fish farming in the 1930s. Today you can relax on the banks of the green water.

Today you can watch many species of birds, dragonflies and newts and newts in the pond.
Krause hawkweed as well as peat and swamp moss have settled on the bank vegetation.
