The cathedral is the landmark of the city, and visible from afar. The first church of origin dates from the 12th century, and was built in Romanesque style. Extension buildings took place in the 13th and 14th century. From 1817-1818, the cathedral was altered in the Neo-Gothic style.

This large cathedral impressed me above all with its very expressive bronze sculptures! Nice that it was open on Sunday morning, although there was no service.
