Hiking Highlight
It is worthwhile to take the narrow trail at this point. Nice new platform makes climbing the kibble feasible for everyone

The Westerbergklippe is a rock formation in the area of the Harz National Park. It is located on the southern slope of the Westerberg, a side summit of Meineberg at Ilsenburg.
The rock is a popular hiking destination with a viewpoint. It offers a beautiful panoramic view over the Rohntal and the Ilsetal to about four miles distant Brockengipfel. The easily accessible via a small staircase cliff dominates the valley of the Ilse by more than 180 meters.
Visiting the Westerbergklippe will usually only be a milestone on a more extensive hike. Another worthwhile starting point on such a tour is the strangely shaped frog rock just a few hundred meters away.
