Important for cyclists: the transition is quite narrow. With bike trailers or saddlebags, there can be problems if you do not keep the lane. With oncoming traffic it gets really stupid! Alternatively, take the path across Elsflether Sand and pass the Hunte via the barrier (is only possible every hour on the day).
