National Trust properties are nice. But can be expensive places to visit if you just want a quick stop to refresh. At Beningbrough you can ride through parkland and stop at farm shop that has a cafe without having to pay admission to house and gardens.

Road cycling

Beningborough Hall is a Georgian Mansion owned and looked after by the National Trust. There is a lovely view up the long, straight driveway from here. Inside are 100 18th century portraits, on loan from the National Portrait Gallery.
