Ruined medieval fortification in Eynsford, Kent. Very easy to include on this walk and use it as a base or a spot to have lunch. The old castle walls provide a good wind break as well.

Built on the site of an earlier Anglo-Saxon stone burh, the castle was constructed by William de Enysford, probably between 1085 and 1087,
