On the banks of the Niers opposite the former castle mill, the mill monument stands in triad with a weir and a stand tree.
It was created in 1990 by the Odenkirchen artist Wilhelm Strunk and is intended to keep the memory of the kidney mills of the old "Glory Odenkirchen" alive. Eight millstones are penetrated by concrete pillars on different levels. Bronze plates show the views of the old mills in relief.
