The Queich is a nearly 52 km long left and west tributary of the Upper Rhine. It rises in the southern part of the Palatinate Forest, the German part of the Wasgau, near Hauenstein and flows into the Upper Rhine Plain in the city of Germersheim in the Rhine. Its river system is one of the four large drainage systems of the Palatinate Forest, in addition to those of Speyerbach, Lauter and Schwarzbach. from Wik.

Bridge over the Queich - from here you can also walk along the Queich, but the path is not paved, you need good shoes

Everywhere in Germersheim there are historical buildings to admire, the wall on the Queich is one of them
