The "old town center" of Reichenschwand is a real gem with very beautiful houses, the castle hotel, a fountain and the Albanus church with the historic rectory. Very nicely designed, worth seeing.

Mountain biking

The community Reichenschwand with its two districts Oberndorf and Leuzenberg lies in the already wide valley of the Pegnitz. The medieval center extends for about 400 meters in a north-south direction right up to the river. There is the Evangelical Lutheran Albanus Church and the so-called Second Furtenbach Castle. In the south, on the opposite bank of the Pegnitz, the area of the former moated castle of the Lords of Strahlenfels joins the old town of Reichenschwand.
