The Vagone farmhouse has been owned by the Capitanio family since its origins; it is in fact thanks to Piero Capitanio that, during the 20th century, the farmhouse continued to be preserved in its original state. The restoration work, which brought the farmhouse to its current state, began in 1995 and was aimed at preserving both the materials and the pre-existing and original architecture. The Trulli and the Frantoio thus remain true testimonies of the 17th century.
