The mill was built in the 1860s. It can be seen from far across the Dammer meadows and sits majestically on an artificial hill high above the farmstead. Today it looks as if it stopped working yesterday. However, the last grain was milled here in 1940, when the mill was significantly destroyed in the Second World War. During the restoration in 1983 it received a new wing cross, but no new grinder.
