You move here directly on the Hahnenkamm ridge along the nature trail and herb garden of Edelsfeld. The long mountain range between Bernricht and Edelsfeld is part of the Central European watershed between the Rhine and Danube. The western precipitation flows over Pegnitz, Main and Rhine into the North Sea, the eastern over Vils, Naab and Danube to the "Black Sea".
