This former watered-down castle is a gem of the Flemish Renaissance. It is dated 1719 (can be seen from the facade anchors) and is built in traditional Brabant brick and sandstone.
The double house has five bays and two storeys, topped with a high slate hipped roof with wooden dormers. the middle bay ends in a square turret with reverberation holes. The entrance door has a bluestone frame. Above the portico, the effigy of Saint Gertrude under a drip molding.
The outbuildings on both sides date from the 19th and 20th centuries.
