Soesterduinen Cycling Path

Great cycling, can be a bit busier at the weekend (especially on nice days); take e-bikes & stray dogs into account.

Cycling through the Soester Duinen offers a delightful experience immersed in natural beauty. The trails are well-maintained, perfect for both leisurely rides and more challenging routes. On weekends, especially in good weather, the paths can be bustling with activity, so it's wise to be mindful of e-bikes and dogs off-leash.The Soester Duinen provides a picturesque backdrop with its sandy dunes and lush vegetation, ideal for cyclists seeking tranquility and scenic views. Whether you're a casual rider or a seasoned cyclist, exploring this area promises a rewarding and refreshing journey through nature's splendor.

This is among my absolute favorites path in my cycling distance (from Utrecht). Strongly prefer cycling it South to North than the other way. Once you know the path and there is littler traffic around, speeding up on these playfully winding paths is the closest you can get to know what mountainbiking feels like on the road bike ;)
