Mountain biking

The village, of very ancient origins, was part of the possessions of the Alberti family, then of the Bardi family and finally, in 1810, of the Guicciardini family, who inherited the vast properties of the Luogomano farm. Already in the 1920s the first conifer plantings began, planted on the various mountain pastures, changing the physiognomy of the farm that managed the large coppice beech forests. Luogomano also had a church, dedicated to Santa Cristina, of very ancient origins. The entire village, including the church, was completely destroyed by the passage of the Front, located right on the Gothic Line.
