Museum Harbor and Alter Hafen Bremerhaven

Here in the historic part of the port are some museum ships, which you can admire while strolling through the park-like area. But you can not only marvel at the fleet of vintage cars on the water, you will also find interesting large maritime objects distributed on land.

The old port was the first port in Bremerhaven. Only remnants are left as the museum harbor of the German Maritime Museum (DSM).

In the years 1960–1975, large parts of the old harbor were also filled, only a few areas were preserved for the museum harbor. In 1999 the old quay was rebuilt for further museum ships. The following ships are located here:
- the deep sea tug Seefalke
- the whaling steamer RAU IX
- the Haffkahn Emma
- the inland tug Helmut
- the lightship Elbe 3
