Isar Cycle Path: Moosburg to Landshut (Scenic Route)

this is by far the nicer alternative for this section of the Isar cycle path,
instead of along the busy former B11 along here you cycle on easily accessible grit or gravel path through the beautiful Isarau, super beautiful to Landshut ...On the Isar bridge in Volkmannsdorf you go down the long stairs with a bicycle track, you can drive around the stairs in town,
If there is a flood, the path has some sinks that can be flooded ...

Great path mostly directly along the Isar, you can also ride it with a gravel bike 🤩

Beautiful section of the Isar cycle path, but very crowded when the weather is good near Landshut. The path is well paved and can be used with any type of bike. Numerous benches invite you to linger and allow great views of the Isar. Walking on the embankment, the sand and gravel banks is not advisable, as all kinds of birds nest here (embankment) and the rapidly changing water level can block the way back.
