On the promenade of the Kyffhäuser town stands a small cone of petrified wood in honor of the brewery owner Eduard Joch. But also here in the forest on the Ratsberg, below the Kirchtal, stands a pyramid (also made of petrified wood). This and a small park had the manor owner Otto Hermann erected in 1906. This facility was very well received by guests and the local population. But after the war, the new rulers showed no interest in the area and let everything become overgrown and decay. Only the stone monument reminds of that time.
