Mid-May to mid-June, depending on the weather, is a good time to take a look at the great orchid meadow near Bevern / Holzminden.Good shoes with profiled soles are required to walk the circular route! On the upper path some areas are cordoned off, there the orchids are only slowly beginning to sprout and only a few have the first buds. Therefore it is essential to walk the small path around it, then the time is already about 2 weeks further and the full bloom of the lady's slipper orchids can be admired. It goes without saying that you stay on the paths!

A nice tour! The ascent may be a bit of an effort for the untrained, but it's worth it. The orchids are beautiful! 😍
