As part of the Embergradweg, this gently rising cycle path on the former Kleinbahntrasse connects the Ulstertal with the Feldatal cycle path. From Buttlar the ride on a racing bike on mostly good asphalt is easy and with beautiful views of the landscape and some details on the edge such as the singer meadow in Bermbach or the former basalt loading in Masbach. The area in Oechsen is a bit rough, but the layout of the settlement and the remains of the train station and potash shaft are quite exciting.
