The city of Wertheim looks back on an eventful past. Located at the mouth of the Tauber in the Main, it is the northernmost city in Baden-Württemberg. Kreuzwertheim, on the other side of the Main, is already in Bavaria. The castle and the old town are particularly worth seeing. On the main promenade you can enjoy a delicious ice cream and watch the excursion boats passing by. A break on the Tauber can also be very refreshing.

Wertheim between Spessart and Odenwald located on Main and Tauber, with its medieval town center, the castle and many other attractions we liked very much, it was certainly not the last time we visited this beautiful city.

Wertheim is a small, cozy town that invites you to stop by, linger and stroll. It is the "gateway" to the Tauber Valley with its great bike path.

Although there are countless beautiful towns on the Main but Wertheim has many beautiful old half-timbered houses, a very beautiful old marketplace.

The marketplace is surrounded by old historically very well preserved half-timbered houses and offers many cafes from which the "drifting" there wonderful to observe.

The elongated historic market square with its beautifully preserved half-timbered houses, some dating back to the 16th century, is worth seeing.

A very nice town at the confluence of Tauber and Main with remarkable remnants of Jewish life.

Very lively town that is also strongly influenced by cycling tourism. Large gastronomic offer, interesting old town and castle. Beautifully located on the Main.

The way up to the castle Wertheim is very exhausting, 2/3 way I have done with Raddel. I'm forgiven the last third, not anymore. But once up, that
     Supervision takes your breath away.
The Old Town Wertheim is a small shiny piece of jewelry and Martin Stübchen has me the best Pils I've ever drunk. The Bayern ... Pfui Teufel.😋😋😂😂
I did it ... Now it's your turn.

A trip up to the castle is great, but not allowed. Very steep, on the return trip the brakes should be in order.

Tauber flows into the Main. Beautiful old town with historic buildings, but also a lot of tourist hype.

We have already slept twice on a bike tour in Wertheim. Always nice when you walk through the winding streets after the tour. Now on the second visit in June 2021 it was very quiet, very few tourists, probably due to the Corona.

The Wertheim Christmas market is worth seeing. It shines in a great sea of lights.

Plenty of parking spaces for vehicles with bike racks and well-marked bike paths. Worth seeing old town and the Tauber flows into the Main. Recommendable
