    One of my favorite places
The 621 mtr. Hohe Hassenroth is 674 m after the bag pipe. with one of the highest elevations in the Marburg-Biedenkopf district.
From here you can see the Westerwald and, if visibility is good, the Feldberg im Taunus in about 80 km. You can also see the television tower on the Dünsberg near Giessen about 35 km away and the television tower at 656 mtr. Hohes Hohes Lohr near Haina.
The Hassenroth used to mark the boundary between Biedenkopf and Dexbach and was approached every seven years when crossing the border in Biedenkopf; old boundary stones from this time can be found up there.

The large cuboid stone was erected when Prussia was newly surveyed in the 19th century.
During the national survey, the country was covered with triangular networks. The station points have been marketed with granite or sandstone pillars. The same sandstone can also be found on the Dünsberg.

Definitely one of the most beautiful places in the Birreköpper city area.
