beautiful old town with castle ruins in a spur position in a loop of a valley meander of the Nagold. The castle burned down in the 17th century, then was rebuilt as a castle and destroyed again in 1945 in an air raid. Of the once 7 city gates, only the arrest tower is preserved, which, as the name suggests, temporarily served as a small prison. On the other side of the Nagold are the remains of the former Reuthin monastery.
