Mountain biking
The so-called Jewish oak near Niederaula-Kerspenhausen brings back memories of the Rhina Jews in a fictional diary. Their fate from the first settlement to the violent end of 1939 is told in a very personal and reader-friendly manner. You learn about the peaceful coexistence of the Jewish and Christian villagers, but also about envy, resentment, hate and persecution.
