Gasserplatz nature reserve is a wetland
GASSERPLATZ NATURE RESERVE
The Gasserplatz nature reserve is a wetland that scientists have designated as a flat and intermediate moor.
Furthermore, an oak tree on the northern edge of the forest at Gasserplatz is entered in the natural monument book. With a height of around 30 meters, a circumference of around 3.5 meters and an age of around 250 to 300 years, the oak is therefore protected. The last execution in Vorarlberg took place on this square in 1864. The condemned man, named Gasser, involuntarily gave this place his name.
