Hammerunterwiesenthal. The place formed a branch of Wiesenthal in church terms, and it was not until 1743 that its own branch church was consecrated. At the same time, the Hammerers received their own cemetery with their church. After 150 years the dilapidated church was torn down and replaced by a new church, which was consecrated in October 1899. In 1989 the organ was rebuilt while keeping the old housing, the interior of the church was renovated and the beautiful painting of the altar dome was restored. In May 1989 the new Jehmlich organ sounded with 90 pipes and 13 registers. At the 100th anniversary of the parish, it was given the name 'Philipp Melanchthon Church'.
