Salse di Nirano Mud Volcanoes

From this point you can admire a geological process that began a few millennia ago: cold clayey mud mixed with hydrocarbons rises from the subsoil, which, drying up, builds up to a few meters high volcanic-looking cones.

Interesting experience, I'm not from the area and I didn't know them but they were a nice discovery! Visit accessible to all. Well maintained area.
