Superb view of the islet and the valley of Grand Bassin.
The climate of the islet which is located at the foot of the ramparts of Cilaos once made it possible to grow fruit and vegetables all year round. The freight elevator, still present, was built in 1985 to transport goods.

In Bois Court you have a wonderful view of the valley of the Grand Bassin from the viewing platform. There is also a nice picnic area here, as well as the goods lift that supplies the village deep in the valley.
