Magnificent white road that for some km keeps you at an altitude of 1850/1900 m with a view, as the name implies, on the most important peaks of our Friuli: in the lower part (from Comeglians) you can see the Carnic Crete, in front you will have Monte Verzegnis and in the last part, the most spectacular, there is a view of the Amariana-Sernio-Grauzaria group and, among others, the majestic Jof di Montasio stands out and behind it the Jof Fuart. The road is flat, however it is overhanging the valley below and is not protected so hand on the brakes and caution. Then the dizzying asphalted descent to Ravascletto begins (July 2020 - watch out for several works in progress and narrowing of the already very narrow road and sections with very rough surfaces and the presence of debris on the road)

I have tried to do it on a road bike, it is possible but could not recommend it. I had a flat because some gravel parts consist of really sharp stones. No idea how the Giro was supposed to race over it some year ago. But good that the riders succeeded in their protest. This is not for a road bike🚳. The views are amazing. 👌🏻
