Best Hikes to Wolfsgrubener Lake

Tips

  • Artificially created lake, serves the irrigation of the fields and meadows between Wolfsgruben and Unterinn. Small beach - or private beach at the Weihrerhof (for hotel guests).

  • The Wolfsgrubensee, which is divided into two roughly equal halves by a headland, is approximately 3.3 hectares in size and has a catchment area of 1.29 km². Its maximum depth is 4 m and therefore has a volume of 82,500 m³.
In summer the water serves as a swimming lake and in winter as an ice skating rink. Source: Wikipedia

  • Apparently "tilted" lake, definitely with a lot of algae and not very clear.
