Altrhein Ferry Johanna (Ginsheim–Nonnenau)

The old Rhine ferry Johanna, "Alte Johanna" shouldn't be dubbed the lady, is something like a VIP in Ginsheim. The ferry offers a short, serene crossing to the island of Nonnenau / Langenau with farm property and swimming in sheltered bays on the Rhine.

Summer Timetable, Stand 2019Tuesdays to Fridays - every hour between 10 and 12 o'clock and between 14 and 19 o'clock; Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays - half-hourly between 10 and 12 o'clock and between 13 and 19 o'clock. On Mondays, except public holidays, there is no ferry service. The ferry operator reserves weather-related restrictions or extensions of the ferry times. The translation of groups is also possible outside of the ferry times by appointment (telephone: 06144/2346 or 0171/1431693).
