A break at the Buddhist (!) Bakery in Päwesin is a must on any tour in the area! The quality of their products and the huge selection especially of cakes and particles is absolutely unique; especially in this wilderness of bakery art. This small shop, built by our monastery school, has created numerous jobs in economically underdeveloped rural areas. These jobs particularly benefit our ordained sangha, who have to support themselves just as much as lay people.
