This is the classic view of Mont Blanc with Lac Blanc in the foreground - not to be missed. I advise you to avoid being there in the middle of the day in summer. It is in the early morning and at the end of the day that you will find the most beautiful light and the greatest calm. The golden colors in autumn are beautiful.

Very beautiful and much sought-after lake. The last stretch is very steep, but when you arrive at the lake you are happy that you made it. A lot of people come up to the lake, I think that's OK too. Many like it here because there are great views of the Mont Blanc massif.

Far too many people here even this September. It feels like on the French Riviera, which spoils all the charm of the place. Need to climb higher, but with caution and well equipped, to find calm.

fantastic lake, probably one of the most beautiful places to look at the Mont Blanc

Very nice tour.
Not an insider tip, many hikers.

Beautiful lake and when there is no wind you will get a fantastic reflection of the peaks from Grand Jorasse to Mont Blanc.

Magnificent view of the Mont Blanc chain.
Be careful, many people in high season (especially on the way to Flégère). Leave early and prefer the climb via the Col des Montets, with the view from the Grand Balcon which has to be earned...

Lac Blanc can be reached from different starting points. Recommended value is the starting point from Col des Montets.
If you walk with children, you can reduce the difference in height if you take the cable car la Flégère (and possibly the subsequent chairlift L'Index). Starting point for the La Flégère cable car the Chamonix village of Les Praz.

Lac Blanc - is a pearl in the Aiguilles Rouges in the Chamonix Valley.
The Lac Blanc is famous all over the world because the Mont-Blanc is reflected in its crystal clear water. It can be accessed from the Chamonix-Mont-Blanc valley via various routes.
The hike to Lac Blanc is quite strenuous, but you will be rewarded with a very special 360° view of the Mont Blanc mountains and the Aiguilles Rouges massif.

Sublime place with a little crowded in the afternoon.

Using the La Flégère cable car (and perhaps the L'Index chairlift that follows) can help walkers with young children navigate the difference in height more easily. The settlement of Les Praz in Chamonix serves as the starting point of the La Flégère cable car. basketball-stars.co
