With the Körnebach, also known as the Körner Bach or simply the Körne, we have once again succeeded in restoring a body of water that had been misused as a developed sewage watercourse in a near-natural way and developing a diverse biotope. The stream is thus in a row with, for example, the Emscher or the Seseke. The great success of the renaturation, which still lies in the future on the Emscher, can already be viewed very nicely on a short tour on the cycle path, which runs along the stream for a long time.
