The Fährhaus Rothenhusen Anno 1583 was lovingly restored and modernized in 2017. Today it is an idyll on tasteful level, both indoors and on the two terraces. There is a magnificent view over the lake. It could be quite crowded on warm summer days. Because it also serves as a tourist restaurant at the pier of both the ships of the Wakenitz and the Ratzeburger See.
