If you want the best Bakewell tarts and puddings, go to Bloomers on water street round the corner.
Having lived in Bakewell for many years, I can honestly say these are not the best puddings or tarts - This shop is also a bit of a lie as the original Bakewell pudding was made by accident at the Rutland hotel on the roundabout.
