Neustrelitz City Harbor

Here you can stay well. In several restaurants you can eat coffee and cake or hearty food. Wednesdays is always BBQ in "Live".

The city harbor was built parallel to the Kammerkanal in 1841/42. The imposing storage buildings in the neighborhood are reminiscent of the former importance for the grain, timber and building materials trade. Around 1860 a modest industry developed around the port.
The port railway was built in 1927, which further and further pushed back the transport of goods by water.
The harbor is now a resting place for water travelers with berths, a boat crane and a modern service area. Excursion boats depart from the pier. From here there is also a beautiful view of the lake. In the harbor information, not only boat tourists, but also hikers and cyclists can find out everything they need to know about the city and its surroundings.
