From the Fauserhöhe to the level crossing in the direction of Marbach, you can let your bike roll in a very relaxed manner. Partly tarred road, partly easy to drive (because it is very compact) dirt road. But in the other direction (up the "mountain") you can drive well even in summer, as the whole route leads through the forest.
