At 843 meters, the Langenberg is the highest mountain in the Sauerland and North Rhine-Westphalia. Since 2010, there has been a real summit cross on the summit. To reach it, you first have to climb a good 300 meters in altitude from Willingen. But you don't need to stay here for long, because there is neither a nice view nor a hut or anything similar. As a result, it is relatively lonely here and you often have the heathland to yourself - that can also have a very special appeal.

As previously described. You are alone and do not see anything around.
But you can enjoy the wonderful peace.

Almost perfect break for MTB tours in Upland and Hochsauerland. The wooden hammock invites you to rest, the tables for food and if there were toilets, luck would be perfect.
